Image size measures 13 1/8 x 19 7/8 inches, plate size measures 16 x 21 5/8 inches, on 17 7/8 x 23 3/4 inch paper, on chine-collé. W.M.H monogrammed in the plate in the lower left. Pencil signed in the lower right, plate signed "S. Parrish aq. ft" in the lower left. Remarque of a ship in the lower left: this is Parrish's first etching with a remarque. A well inked print with good tonal range.

This is a very fine etching by Stephen Parrish after a painting by Henry Ward Ranger. The image size is 18 x 23 3/4 inches, published by Klackner in 1887, cat: Schneider-124, with a remarque in the lower center margin, pencil signed by both Parrish and Ranger. In her description of this etching, Schneider writes that "there is a good match between the sensibilities of the painter, Henry Ward Ranger (1858-1916), and the printmaker, Parrish, so the result is a masterful etching."

This is a very fine original etching by Stephen Parrish, published by Keppel in 1881. The image size is 12 x 19 inches, cat: Schneider-49, plate signed and titled, pencil signed. According to Schneider, this atmospheric image of the Massachusetts shore was one of Parrish's most popular etchings. This print features a very richly inked impression with beautiful plate tone, printed on a medium weight wove type paper with ample margins.
