This is an interesting original watercolor painting of a monument and reflecting pool. This watercolor came to us unidentified as to the artist but it is a very competent hand that created this work. on the back of the illustration board is a New York art dealer, N.E. Montross. The painting measures 11 1/2X19 1/2 inches, no apparent signature. About Montross:

Cornwall

This is an original watercolor painting by Boston artist William Goodrich Beal (1855-1919) This piece is signed and titled lower left "Cornwall" under the artist's signature. The painting came to us in what appears to be the original frame with an early Macy's label NY. The painting measures 5 1/2X9 inches. The painting is in very good condition, the color is still rich. The overall frame size is 8 1/4X11 3/4 inches

The Stone Bridge

This is a very fine original landscape, watercolor on paper, 10 5/8 x 16 inches, clearly signed "Henry Brooke, London". Born in Dublin, Henry Brooke lived in London from 1761-1767, where he painted landscapes and historical scenes.
