A very fine original engraving of Daniel Webster, after the painting by Thomas B. Lawson, image size 26 1/2 x 18 inches, 1852, engraved and printed by C. E. Wagstaff and Jos. Andrews, in what appears to be the original frame. Daniel Webster was a noted Senator, lawyer and politician from New Hampshire, who also served as secretary of state twice, under the administrations of William Henry Harrison, John Tyler and Millard Fillmore.

A superb original etching and aquatint in colors, this image measures 17 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches, published in 1970 in an edition of 130 by CFA Graphics, NY, cat: Fern & O'Sullivan- 584, pencil signed and numbered. Baskin was an important artist in the mid 20th century, known for his evocative wood engravings, lithographs, and etchings. In the era of abstract expressionism, Baskin’s work tended toward the representational with a strong classical influence, which is particularly evident in his images of flowers and the natural world.

Peter Moran was one of the foremost artists of the American etching revival of the late 19th century. A beautiful architectural cityscape by master printmaker, Joseph Pennell. Measuring 8 x 11 inches, it is pencil signed, publishers label included. Created in 1905 in an edition of probably 75, cat: Wuerth #379. Pennell was an important American etcher, lithographer and illustrator. Good friends with James McNeill Whistler, he and his wife co-authored his biography. Pennell was known for his continued experimentation with technique and style, producing cityscapes, landscapes and marine scenes. He also printed many of his own images.
