This is an original etching and aquatint by French artist Louis Legrand.  This image from his La Petite Classe series created in 1908 is titled Premiere Danseuse.  This impression is the 4th state of 6.  It is numbered as 1/100.  The image measures  15 3/4X11 1/4 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower right, This etching is nicely framed with archival materials.  Published by G. Pellet, Paris, red stamp lower right border.

This is an original hand colored lithograph by American artist Don Freeman.  The title is: "To see the mayor".  This image was created and printed in 1937 in an edition of 25, far fewer were hand colored by the artist.  This image is pencil signed, the image measures 12 1/8X9 inches.  According to the catalog: "On his weekly radio program, Mayor La Guardia encouraged new Yorkers to bring their complaints to him personally.  Freeman drew a group of constituents making appointments with the mayor's secretary"  This lithograph is framed.

This is a fine rich impression of the well known Corot etching Souvenir of Italy, this was first created in 1863, and  printed in three states, including later ones with the publishers information at the bottom edge of the sheet.  This one does not have that so may be an earlier or possibly later  impression.  The image measures 12 9/16X9 3/8 inches, printed on an antique laid type paper.  Very fine condition, matted not framed.  This image appears in the catalog as C.5...

This is a very rare original drypoint etching by French artist Jean-Louis Forain, the title is C'est Fini, this drypoint was created and printed circa 1890, there was a later Verticle composition with the same name.  This image measures 9 1/2X12 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet,.  Weve been unable to find another example of this scarce drypoint.  Hand signed in pencil lower right.

This is a fine original etching by American Ex Pat, Mary Cassatt.  The title is: Looking into the Hand Mirror, No. 3.  It was created and printed in 1905, done in drypoint on an antique thin laid type paper, unsigned as typical of this image.  The image measures 8 3/4X5 1/4 inches.  This image appears in the Breeskin catalog as image number 202.  Very light toning to the sheet, some imperfections in the paper from when it was produced, unobtrusive .  A fine impression of this well known image.  "Mary Stevenson Cassatt was an American painter and printmaker. This is an incredible rare impression of the well known Panama Canal etching, The Guard Gate, Gatun Lock.  It was created and printed in 1912. Both etching and drypoint, with a rich burr in the shadow areas.   Pencil signed and annotated "imp" meaning that he printed this impression on his own press.  It is printed on a blue toned laid type paper,  Very fine condition, richly printed.  The image measures 12 1/2X9 1/2 inches.  It appears in the Pennell catalog as Wuerth number 627.  The edition is about 60 impressions.
