Still Life with Red Flowers

This is a vibrant original still life, oil on canvas, 21 1/2 x 17 1/4 inches, c. 1920s-1930s, signed, framed. This painting appears to have been resized; there is a signature but it is on the edge of the canvas that has been folded over the stretcher and can only be seen from the back of the painting. Von Schlegell was a New York artist known for his vibrant still lives and landscapes.

This is a richly inked original etching, image size 4 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches, c. 1920s, edition of 100, pencil signed and titled. This etching comes in what appears to be the original frame with a label from the Gage Gallery, Cleveland, Ohio.
