Ink wash drawing, image size 14 x 16 inches, pencil signed and dated '43. Tischler studied at L'Academy de Vienne under Franz Rumpler, and exhibited his work throughout Europe in the 1920s and 1930s, at museums in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Vienna.


Yachting- Marblehead Harbor

A fine original etching, this image measures 8 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches, published in 1929 in a small edition of 28, pencil signed and dated, framed. Reynolds Beal was born and raised in New York City, but traveled extensively throughout his artistic career. He specialized in land and seascapes, some of his favorite locations were the North Shore of Massachusetts and the Florida Keys. He was a member of the Salmagundi Club, the National Academy of Design, The American Watercolor Society, The Society of American Engravers and the National Arts Council.
