Watercolor, sight size 15 1/4 x 23 1/2 inches, signed and dated l.l, "T.B. Hardy 1874", framed. Hardy was a well known marine painter in London in the late 19th century, specializing in watercolor scenes of the Channel Coast. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, The Suffolk Street Gallery, and the New Watercolor Society.

Oil on canvas, sight size 16 1/2 x 40 inches, c. 1910, signed l.l. "F. Weber", framed. Weber grew up in Columbia, SC but was educated in Germany where he graduated in Berlin in 1903. His artistic education began in Paris at the Ecole National des Beaux Arts and the Julian Academy. Ferdinand Humbert, Jean Paul Laurens, Raoul Verlet and Paul Richer were his teachers. He is known for his etchings, sculptures and paintings which are exhibited in many public and private collections.
