This etching by Luigi Lucioni measures 8 1/2 x 11 3/4 inches. It is plate signed and dated, 1946 and pencil signed on the lower right margin. Created in an edition of 250, and #97 in the Embury catalogue, this depiction of an old New England farmhouse along Route 7 is one of many scenes Lucioni created while spending his summers in Manchester, Vt. His works were marketed though AAA in New York. (M)

This signed, charcoal on paper, portrait is by Paul Lewis Clemens. Sight size is 16 5/8 x 13 1/8 inches and is presented in a wooden frame. It is identified and titled on a label from James Vigeveno Galleries, Westwood Hills, Los Angeles, California, on the paper backing. A portrait, figure, genre and garden painter, Clemens studied at the University of Wisconsin with Oscar Hagen and the Art Institute of Chicago. He is best known for his movie star portraits of the Hollywood era in the 40s, but was also gifted for other styles, from French impressionism to Dutch linearity.
