A beautiful White Mountain School landscape, c. 1880, oil on canvas, unsigned, in the style of Benjamin Champney. The canvas measures 36 x 22 inches and is housed in a period walnut frame.


Street Scene with Donkeys, Toledo

Etching, image size 8 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches, c. 1915, unsigned, estate stamped on reverse, titled in pencil, possibly in the artist's hand. Kuehne was an American artist who studied in NYC before traveling extensively throughout Europe. After returning to the U.S. he became friends and colleagues with Edward Hopper, William Glackens and Charles Prendergast. From 1914-1917, Kuehne lived and worked in Spain creating many landscapes and architectural scenes, including this lively street scene in the city of Toledo.
