There is a hand written title "Hog Island, Maine" and date "June 27 1918" on the bottom edge of the canvas and on the back but no clear signature. Period Gilt Frame

Lithograph, image size 12 1/4 x 9 3/8 inches, 1943, published by the AAA, pencil signed. Covarrubias was born and raised in Mexico but lived in the United States for much of his life. He and his wife Rosa traveled extensively and always had a special love of the Island of Bali. They first visited Bali on their honeymoon and returned several times over the years, even writing a book titled "Island of Bali".
