Watercolor on paper, sight size 11 x 14 3/8 inches, c. 1930s, signed lower left, framed. Carroll Bill was an artist and architect, studying at Harvard Architectural School. He was a member of many artist's associations, including the Boston Architectural Club, the Boston Society of Architects, the Boston Society of Watercolor Painters, the New York Society of Watercolor Painters, the New York Watercolor Club and the Springfield Art League.

This is a fantastic scene of Native American dancers, which beautifully captures the energy and movement of the crowd. This etching measures 13 7/8 x 11 inches, created in 1962 in an edition of 50, is pencil signed and numbered. Kloss was born in California as Alice Geneva Glasier changing her name when she married the poet, Phillips Kloss in 1925. After traveling throughout the West they settled in Taos, NM where they found the culture and customs of the Native American Indians a constant source of creative study and growth as artists.

Mt. Monadnock

This drawing by Dexter Dawes measures 18 5/8 x 24 5/8 inches. Dawes was born in Englewood, NJ and went on to study at New York City's Art Student League. He summered in Marlboro, NH surrounded by beautiful gardens with views of Mount Monadnock which became the inspiration for many of his lithographs and paintings. He belonged to a number of associations including the National Arts Club.
