A beautiful summer landscape by the American artist, Horace Burdick. It measures 5 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches and is matted. Burdick attended the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston and was known throughout his career as a portrait and landscape painter. He did many White Mountain scenes as well as New England coastal scenes. This image is from the artists' estate.

Member of the Utagawa school, his range of subjects included many genres: landscapes, beautiful women, Kabuki actors, cats, and mythical animals.
