This is a dramatic lithograph of a group of soldiers in the midst of battle in France during WWI. The image size is 17 x 11 7/8 inches, 1916, hand signed and numbered, framed. Lucien Jonas was an official military artist in France during WWI and traveled extensively through the front lines, creating many paintings, drawings and prints depicting the heroism and bravery of the soldiers on the front lines.

A great New Hampshire landscape by William Preston Phelps, this painting measures 16 x 24 inches, oil on canvas, c. 1900, signed in the lower right corner, in a beautiful modern gilt frame. Known as the "Painter of Monadnock", Phelps lived most of his life in Dublin and Chesham, NH, with the exception of several years he spent studying art in Europe. He painted many scenes of the area landscape of farms, fields and forests, most of which were set against the backdrop of the majestic Mount Monadnock.
