A delicate hand-painted woodblock print by the well known printmaker and illustrator, Kako Morita. It measures 12 5/8 x 8 3/4 inches. Signature and seal on left border. Kako Morita did illustrations of fish, birds and botanicals for scientific textbooks, many of them located in the permanent collections of the Department of Botany and the Division of Fishes, both Smithsonian Institutions.
