This 1913, impressionistic style landscape with impasto, by the French artist, F. Jegou, signed and dated, l.r., oil on board, painted on two sides. Frame size measures 17 3/8 x 12 inches, sight size measures 10 x 15 1/4 inches.
This etching by Arthur C. Taylor measures 5 x 7 inches. Printed in an edition of 100, on medium weight paper with wide margins, it is plate signed and also pencil signed, title and numbered on the lower margin. A very atmospheric image created by Taylors' placement of a richly inked wooded foreground illuminated by the light filtering through the trees in the background.
This landscape drawing by Dexter Dawes measures 18 1/2 x 24 1/2 inches and is signed in the lower right corner. Dawes was born in Englewood, NJ and went on to study at New York City's Art Student League. He summered in Marlboro, NH surrounded by beautiful gardens with views of Mount Monadnock which became the inspiration for many of his lithographs and drawings. He belonged to a number of associations including the National Arts Club.
