Printed in 1934 in an edition of 80 it is plate signed and dated and also hand signed in pen and ink. McBey's love of the sea and boats is apparent in this landscape of the Syrian coast, near Tyre. His works vary in subject and style but all reveal his masterful draughtsmanship and his sense of light.
