Landscape by the American artist, Charles Woodbury, measuring 9 1/4 x 13 1/4 inches, signed in the l.r. "Charles H. Woodbury Lynn '82", oil on board, 1882, unframed. Known for his oils, watercolors and etchings, Woodbury was predominately a self-taught artist who preferred "to work out his salvation with little help from others in his profession".

This is a remarkable original etching of a New England winter by Kerr Eby. The image size is 9 1/2 x 15 1/4 inches, 1941, edition of about 100, cat: Giardina-204, pencil signed "Kerr Eby imp", the 'imp' indicating that Eby printed this impression himself. This etching features a richly inked impression with subtle plate tone, printed on a medium weight watermarked wove type paper.
