A very fine 19th Century American landscape, watercolor on paper, sight size 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches, c. 1890s. Although this painting is unsigned, it is a lovely composition painted by a very competent hand. This painting was recently matted with archival materials and housed in a period carved wood frame.

Drypoint and aquatint etching, image size 15 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches, 1906, numbered 14/50 l.l., pencil signed l.r., published by Sagot, Paris, with the blindstamp l.r. A richly inked impression with ample margins.

This fine pencil drawing of a giant pine tree with its wooded surroundings, by local Marlboro, NH artist, Dexter Dawes measures 15 x 11 inches and is sketched on a medium weight, gray paper. Dawes summered in southern NH, with its' majestic views of Mt. Monadnock where many of his inspirations for his drawings, paintings and lithographs came from.
