Oil on canvas, 16 x 20 inches, signed "MHLOWELL" lower left. A primarily self-taught artist, Lowell preferred landscapes and worked mainly in the Adirondacks and Hudson River Valley.
Etching, image size 5 3/4 x 7 1/8 inches, 1919, most likely an early artist's proof, retouched stain just below image and a reinforced broken plate mark at two corners, pencil signed, dated, and titled.
