This is a superb original etching and aquatint in color by French Belle Epoch artist Manuel Robbe. Image size 16 3/4 x 23 1/2 inches, 1905, cat: Galerie Michal- 129, edition unknown but listed as very rare, pencil signed in the upper left corner of the image, framed. This vibrant scene of a Paris merry go round brightly illuminated against the shadowy city street is a one of Robbe's finest prints and is featured on the cover of the Galerie Michal catalog of his work.

A fine pencil drawing by Dexter Dawes done on a heavy weight paper. It measures 7 5/8 x 11 inches. Dawes was born in Englewood, NJ and went on to study at New York City's Art Student League. He summered in Marlboro, NH surrounded by beautiful gardens with views of Mount Monadnock which became the inspiration for many of his lithographs and paintings. He belonged to a number of associations including the National Arts Club.
