This is a vibrant original watercolor by American artist Gordon Grant. The sight size is 14 1/2 x 21 1/4 inches, signed lower left, framed, with the original label from Vose Galleries, Boston. Gordon Grant was born in California and sent to Great Britain for his education. He worked as a staff artist for New York World and Harper's Weekly, covering both the Boer War and the Mexican Revolution, but became most widely known for his marine paintings and lithographs.

Lithograph, image size 8 x 6 1/16 inches, pub. 1934, signed and titled in pencil, also plate signed, edition of 25 or fewer (McCulloch 98). Freeman is known for his depictions of urban life in the Depression era 30's. In this one, a glimpse of nightlife on a busy city street.

This fine pencil drawing of a giant pine tree with its wooded surroundings, by local Marlboro, NH artist, Dexter Dawes measures 15 x 11 inches and is sketched on a medium weight, gray paper. Dawes summered in southern NH, with its' majestic views of Mt. Monadnock where many of his inspirations for his drawings, paintings and lithographs came from.
