Oil on canvas, 20 x 16 inches, signed "H. Foley" lower right. There is an inscription on the back of the canvas which appears to read "View of Strasburg." In a heavy period frame, probably original to the painting.

Watercolor on paper, image size 13 1/4 x 18 1/8 inches, 1950, signed and titled in pencil, l.r. This is a study for the painting, "Debussy's Clouds," which was featured on the program for the Kansas City Philharmonic Orchestra's concert in December 1950.

Breaking Up of the Agamemnon, #1

Etching, image size 7 5/8 x 16 1/4 inches, 1870, state IX/XI, cat: Schneiderman-133, pencil signed. According to Schneiderman, the Agamemnon was one of the last wooden hulled warships built in England, shown here moored on the Thames, ready for demolition. Haden was commissioned to by P.G. Hamerton to create an etching of the old ship for the newly founded art magazine 'The Portfolio.'This remarkable image became one Haden's most successful prints.
