Bearskin Neck

This is a very fine original lithograph of Bearskin Neck, a small neighborhood in the town of Rockport, Massachusetts. The image size is 9 7/8 x 13 3/4 inches, published in 1945 in an edition of 50 impressions, pencil signed and titled.

Valley Edge #1

This beautiful lithograph by the American artist Wilfred Readio measures 9 7/8 x 11 3/4 inches. It is plate initialed, titled and numbered. Readio was a painter, lithographer and educator, known for his scenes of Pittsburgh, PA. and the American West. He was also the Academic Drawing teacher at the Carnegie Institute of the Arts, Andy Warhol being one of his students.

Rock-bound

Lithograph from 1963. Edition of 25. Plate measures 13 1/4 x 19 13/16 inches on 17 1/8 x 23 1/8 inch medium weight wove type paper. Catalog: Stuckey 284. The scene is along Marginal Way near Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine. Pencil signed in the lower right.

The Wood Lot

Image measures 13 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches on 18 x 13 3/4 inch Rives watermarked wove type paper. Plate initialed and dated 1930. Pencil editioned in the lower left. Editioned 30/90. Catalog: Barker 46. An atmospheric print of two people and a horse hauling wood through a storm.

Great Horned Owl

Lithograph from May 1960. Scene from New York, New York. Image measures 15 3/16 x 11 3/4 inches on 19 3/4 x 15 inch medium weight wove type paper. Wengenroth has captured this majestic owl at high alert against a dramatic bright sky, framed with some plate tone on the edges. Catalog: Stuckey 269.
