This is a very dramatic original etching by British Marine artist Arthur Briscoe. The image size is 8 3/8 x 15 3/8 inches, 1926, edition of 75, hand signed and numbered in ink. This etching is tastefully framed with what appear to be archival materials, provenance Egon and Joan Teichert Fine Prints, NY, label on the back of the frame. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast. Also crewing on a Polish ship, he sketched every aspect of life on the boat. Most of Briscoe's etchings show sailing ships and the hardworking men who sailed them. His beautifully etched images present an invaluable historical record of the workings of the last great commercial vessels.

This is a fine original lithograph by German artist Lovis Corinth.  The title Tal Grund (The Valley) from the series  Vorfruhling im Gebirge (early spring in the Mountains).  It was published by Euphorion Verlag, Berlin in 1922 in an edition of 125 impressions.  This was part of a series of 5 lithographs.  The image measures 12 3/4X17 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is an original color aquatint etching by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir.  The title of this work is: "Fleet Street,London", circa 1930, one of his best works.  The view is of St.Pauls and Ludgate Hill from Fleet Street.

The image measures 21 1/4X17 inches.  very nice condition, pencil signed in the lower left border, printed on a wove type paper.  It appears in the Kasimir catalog as image number 10.

A dramatic, ethereal print with a wide tonal range, using light to convey that the dancer is about to go onstage.

This is a scarce original drypoint etching by British artist William Russell Flint.  The title is: "Eve", it was created and printed in 1930.  The image measures 7 1/4X10 1/8 inches.  Signed in a sepia ink lower border, printed on an antique laid type paper, identified in the artists hand as from 1753.  This image is numbered as LXVI.  Printed with a brown toned ink.  Some toning from an early window mat but does not affect the image area.  Collectors or printers information on the back of the sheet.

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist Augustus John (1878-1961)  This etching is titled: Rambling By the Lake, it was created and printed in  1909 this impression is numbered as 23/50.  The image measures 7X5 inches, printed on an antique watermarked laid type paper.  In the lower border its annotated Plate no. 116 and then titled and editioned.  Very nice condition.

A very rare lithograph by the British artist Edmund Blampied measuring 17 1/2 x 14 inches, pencil signed and numbered 3/3. Edmund Blampied was a very successful artist and illustrator in early 20th century Britain. He illustrated many books and magazines, but is best known for his remarkable skills as a printmaker. He was an important figure in the 'British Etching Revival' of the early 20th century, and was elected to the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers in 1920.
