This 1939 etching, published by Associated American Artists, New York, measures 6 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches, is pencil signed and titled in an edition of 250. Flint cat: 134. Born into an artistic family, Peggy Bacon's talents were apparent at an early age. By the age of 20, she had her first solo show in New York. She then went on to study at the Art Students League under John Sloan, Kenneth Hayes Miller and George Bellows.
