Pencil signed with a mandarin duck seal in the lower right. 2 states. Part of a series called "Fruits." The comb in the hair signifies that the subject is a married man, of high caste. Jacoulet was born in France but spent most of his life in Japan. His skillful and rare prints provide insight into the traditional styles of many cultures.
