This pencil drawing by Dexter Dawes measures 8 3/8 x 11 inches, done on a gray, medium weight drawing paper. Dawes summered in Marlboro, NH, with its majestic views of Mt. Monadnock, where many of his inspirations for his drawings, paintings and lithographs came from.

A beautiful summer landscape by the American artist, Horace Burdick. It measures 5 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches and is matted. Burdick attended the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston and was known throughout his career as a portrait and landscape painter. He did many White Mountain scenes as well as New England coastal scenes. This image is from the artists' estate.

Watercolor on paper, sight size 13 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches, c. 1960s, signed in the lower right corner, in the original silver metal frame with the artist's stamp on the back. Wotiz graduated from Brown University and became known for her oils and watercolors of the New England landscape and shoreline. She was a member of the North Shore Arts Association, the Concord Art Association and the Western Maine Art Group. (M)
