Rast im Dorfe

This is an original color etching by Austrian artist Ferdinand-Karl Gold (1882-1981)  The title is: "Rast im Dorfe", (rest in the village)  This etching and aquatint was created and printed circa 1920.  Pencil signed and titled lower border.  The image measures 11 1/2X15 3/8 inches.

View of a Fountain

This is an interesting original drawing of a european fountain, it is unsigned but certainly reminds one of a number of post impressionist artists. We are unable to tell where this image occurred but it shows many people strolling around the Fountain. It is pencil, charcoal and whiting. The image measures 12X15 inches, drawing on a thin japan type paper tipped to a cardboard backing.

Guibal Stilllife

Watercolor study for festival poster held yearly at the Hotel Meynier d'Oppede, 1970, sheet size measuring 19 5/8 x 16 inches. Guibal was known for his abstract images of women, birds, the wind and the sea often with strong contrasting colors.

The Stone Bridge

This is a very fine original landscape, watercolor on paper, 10 5/8 x 16 inches, clearly signed "Henry Brooke, London". Born in Dublin, Henry Brooke lived in London from 1761-1767, where he painted landscapes and historical scenes.
