A very fine original engraving of Daniel Webster, after the painting by Thomas B. Lawson, image size 26 1/2 x 18 inches, 1852, engraved and printed by C. E. Wagstaff and Jos. Andrews, in what appears to be the original frame. Daniel Webster was a noted Senator, lawyer and politician from New Hampshire, who also served as secretary of state twice, under the administrations of William Henry Harrison, John Tyler and Millard Fillmore.

A very fine original etching by American artist Stephen Parrish, this image is one of three images Parrish created of Chester, a small walled town near Liverpool, England. The image size is 9 1/4 x 7 3/8 inches, 1884, state I/II, before the remarque in the lower margin, cat: Schneider- 107, pencil signed.

This 1887 etching by the Irish American artist, Thomas Hovenden, measures 19 1/2 x 13 3/4 inches, pencil signed, remarque on l.l. of shaving mug with brush, copyright info on l.c. Thomas Hovenden was born in Cork, Ireland, studying at the Cork School of Design before emigrating to the US at age 23, enrolling at the National Academy of Design in NYC and working as an illustrator for Harper's magazine. He went on to study in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux Arts under Alexander Cabanel before settling back in the US in the Pennsylvania area.

This is an atmospheric original etching of a herd of sheep by American artist John Austin Sands Monks. Image size 11 x 16 1/2 inches, c. 1880s, shepherd's crook remarque in the lower right corner, pencil signed. A rich impression with beautiful plate tone and ample margins on Japan paper.

This is a an atmospheric original etching, image size 4 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches, 1880, cat: Schneider-40, plate signed. Stephen Parrish was one of the leading American etchers of the late 19th century, known for his atmospheric images of the rugged New England and Nova Scotia coastlines.

This is a very fine original etching, image size 5 5/8 x 8 5/8 inches, 1881, signed and dated in the plate. Mary Nimmo Moran was one of the leading women etchers of the late 19th century, and along with her husband, Thomas Moran was at the forefront of the etching revival. Known for the originality and boldness of her etchings, Mary Nimmo Moran was a member of the Society of Painter- Etchers and the only female member of the Fellows of London's Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.

This is a very fine original etching, image size 5 1/8 x 7 3/4 inches, 1879, from Bacher's Danube Set, pencil signed. A very richly inked impression beautiful plate tone on a fine wove type paper with ample margins.

Etching, image size 5 1/4 x 8 1/8 inches, 1882, plate signed l.l. "S Parrish" and "68" l.r., pencil signed l.r. "Stephen Parrish". This etching was made by Parrish after his painting, "A Fishing Hamlet, Bay of Fundy--Evening, which was shown at the National Academy of Design in March 1882.
