This is a fine original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Gordon H. Grant.  The title is Home Port, created and printed in 1940, published by Associated American Artists in New York.  The edition was 232.  The image measures 9X11 1/2 inches.  Clearly signed lower border, beautiful condition.  

Gordon Hope Grant was born in San Francisco and educated in Scotland. After Scotland Hope studied at the Heatherly and Lambeth Art School in London and returned to San Francisco where he worked as an illustrator for local newspapers until 1896, when he moved to New York as an illustrator.

Later in life Grant lived on Rocky Neck, Gloucester, MA for 20 years. Here he focused on the harbor and its surroundings for much of his work. 

A member of numerous professional societies, his work is held in important collections nationwide, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. 

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Helen Noel.  The title is: The Nude and the Nun, created and printed circa 1930's.  The image measures 14 1/4X10 inches, printed on a Besingwerk watermarked sheet.  Helen Noel was employed in Chicago's District 10 Art Division of the Works Progress Administration WPA Federal Art Works Program. 

This is a fine etching by British artist and print maker Percival Gaskell.  This lake view is pencil signed lower border.  The image measures 6X9 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is a nice original wood engraving by American artist Herbert Waters.  The title is: River and Forest, created and printed Circa 1950.  This hand signed and titled  wood engraving has an image size of 7X6 inches.  Printed on a light weight Japan type sheet.

This is a very large original etching pencil signed Charles Jacques and also signed A Gilborn..? This is most likely an etching done by Jacques after a painting by another french artist , circa 1880.  The image measures 25 3/4X20 1/2 inches.  A duck remarque lower left.  Printed on a wove type sheet.  Very good condition.

This is an original etching by Barbizon artist Charles Emile Jacque.  The title is: Le Chemin de Halage, (The Towing Path) created and printed in 1864.  This image is plate signed by the artist Jacque and also signed by the printer Sarazin, printed in Paris.   The image measures 6X4 7/8 inches.  Printed on a chine colle adhered to a thicker sheet of wove type paper.
"Charles Jacque 'Charles Emile Jacque': During the 1840's a most important movement began in French art. A number of painters began settling in the tiny village of Barbizon and dedicated their art to portrayals of nature and rustic life. Given that the mainstream of traditional French art was still mired in the genres of classical and historical paintings this was indeed a revolutionary step. Barbizon artists gained their inspiration from both the great landscape etchings and paintings of Rembrandt and other Dutch 17th century masters and from the contemporary landscape art of such British artists as Constable and Turner. In its turn, Barbizon etchings and paintings led the way to the beginnings of French Impressionism in the following generation.

Many of the leading artists associated with the Barbizon school were also fine etchers. Within this category one should mention such names as Corot, Millet and Daubigny. Charles Emile Jacque, however, dedicated his career to the art of etching and became the most active Barbizon artist in this field. He is thus considered a major precursor to the French etching revival of the 1860's."

This is a rare etching by American artist Edward J. Balthazar.  The subject is: The Wadsworth Barn in Hartford.  Created and printed in 1945.  Hand signed in pencil and editioned as 6/50.  The image measures 8 3/4X 11 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image was later recreated and so as the 1949 Presentation print published by the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.

This is a fine etching by American artist Edward J. Balthazar.  The subject is: The Wadsworth Barn in Hartford.  Created and printed in 1945.  Hand signed in pencil and editioned as 24/100  The image measures 7 7/8X 10 1/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image was  the 1949 Presentation print published by the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.  An early larger image was created a few years earlier.

This is a rare pencil signed impression of the Woodblock print by Czech artist Valerie Czepelka (1896-1980)  The title is Waldinneres (Woodland Scene) Created and later published as an unsigned edition published by "Vervielfaltigende Kunst" in 1933.  This is an earlier proof.  The image measures 8X7 3/4 inches.  Printed on a light weight Japan type sheet.

This is an original drypoint etching by German artist Ernest Oppler.  The title is Tanzen Paare, created and printed circa 1920, this impression is hand signed in pencil and numbered 56/100.  The image measures 5X7 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Oppler is best known for his studies of Dance and Theater.

This is an original pencil signed wood block print by German artist Peter Trumm.  The image measures 9 5/8X12 1/2 inches. printed in Germany in 1922 for the very rare "Die zweite Ganymed-Mappe" portfolio of "Das vierte Jahrbuch der Marees Gesellschaft", published in Munich by Marees-Gesellschaft, R. Piper & Co. This impression is one of the deluxe signed edition of 300 printed on thin japon paper.
