Burdick attended the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston and was known throughout his career as a portrait and landscape painter. He did many White Mountain scenes as well as New England coastal scenes. This image is from the artists' estate.

With the artists Malden Mass address. This painting is clearly signed lower right and nicely framed with archival material. The painting itself measures 5X6 3/4 inches. The overall frame measures 12 1/2X14 inches.
