This etching by Mathias Arteaga, after Valdes Leal, measures 20 1/2 x 11 5/8 inches. Created c. 1672, it is plate signed on the lower left with some worm damage within the image.

This print was commissioned by the Print Makers Society of California as their presentation plate for associate members for the year 1945, printed upon hand made, laid paper. Label on back from the Print Makers Society of California with artist provenance.

This rare engraving by John Sartain, after Da Cortona, measures 17 x 11 3/8 inches on heavy weight laid type paper. Part of a fresco painted by Da Cortona in the Duomo at Orvieto Cathedral in Italy. Published in London by William Young Ottley in May of 1825. Plate number at top right.
