Etching after Anton Mauve, image size: 6 1/8 x 8 1/2 inches, signature "A Mauve" in the plate lower right. Painting in the Hague School, Mauve is known for his scenes of youthful shepherds and sheep. He also briefly taught Vincent van Gogh.
