South Berwick, Maine, 1934

This is an original lithograph by Japanese American artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi (1893-1953) The title of this work is "South Berwick, Maine", this lithograph was created and printed in 1934, published for the Cleveland Print Makers in an edition of 250. The image measures 9 1/4X12 1/2 inches. Printed on a medium weight, wove type paper with the Rives B.F.K. watermark. Hand signed in pencil lower right.

Carriage Approach to Penn Station

This is an original etching by American artist Joseph Pennell. The title of this work is: "Carriage Approach to Pennsylvania Station, N.Y. This etching was created and printed in 1919, in an edition of only 50.
The image measures 11 3/4X7 inches, hand signed in pencil lower border. The signature has the imp after the artists name meaning that he printed this one himself.

The Ugly Devil

This is an original etching by John Taylor Arms, one of his Gargoyle Studies titled: "Ugly Devil", it was created and printed in 1924, the image measures 3 1/8X3 3/16
inches. The edition was 100 signed proofs. This one was signed twice in pencil once as part of a dedication in the lower left border.

Nude on a Draped Couch

This is an original etching by American artist John Sloan. The title is: "Nude on a Draped Couch", it was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 100. The image measures 7X5 1/2 inches. Pencil signed and editioned in the lower border. This etching is in very good condition apart from having the borders trimmed to within 1 inch of the platemark. Enough room for proper presentation. This etching came to us in an early frame with the Kraushaar Gallery, N.Y. label on the back.

Nude and Breakfast Tray

An original etching and engraving by American artist John Sloan. The title of this work is "Nude and Breakfast Tray", it was created and printed in 1933 in an edition of 100. The image measures 5 1/2 X 7 inches. Hand signed and editioned in pencil. This etching came to us in an early frame with the Kraushaar Gallery N.Y. label on the back.
The condition is superb there has been some trimming to the borders but at least 1/2 half inches remain on three sides and a bit more at the bottom, enough for proper presentation.

Calf Love

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist John Sloan. The title of this work is "Calf Love", a view of adolescent affection which is expressed as slaps and kicks with the teenage groups meeting on the street corners of New York. The image measures 4 1/4X2 3/4. It was created and printed in 1916 in an edition of 100 proofs.

Refugees

This is an original etching by American artist Harold Kerr Eby. It is titled "Refugees", This etching was based on Eby's World War I experiences in France. This etching was created and printed in 1933 in an edition of 100 signed proofs. This pencil signature has the "imp" after the artists name meaning he printed this one himself. The image measures 9 15/16X14 13/16 inches. It appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 180. This image is a combination of etching and sandpaper ground, printed on a medium weight wove type paper with a partial watermark.

The Fris, Hamstead Heath

This is an original pencil signed aquatint etching by American artist John Wesley Cotton (1868-1931) The title of this work is "The Fris, Hamstead Heath", circa 1920 this etching has an image size of 14 14X11 3/8 inches, this etching came to us framed and has an early gallery label on the back from Campbell Prints in New York. The condition is good, the image looks darker in our photo due to shooting through the glass.

Going Fishing

This is an original etching, hand signed in pencil and dedicated in the artists hand, but who the artist is remains a mystery. It looks very similar to the work of Southern artist Alfred Hutty. It shows a black man going fishing, walking along the edge of a stream. The image measures 4X6 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper. We estimate this work to be circa 1930. Over all very nice condition.
