Fishermen Three

This 1938 etching by the American artist John Costigan measures 9 x 11 3/4 inches, pencil signed and titled. This image is illustrated in Thomas Cravens, "A Treasury of American Prints", plate # 26. Costigan was known for his evocative images of hardworking farmers and their families, often set against the backdrop of the fields and landscapes of their daily lives.
