This 1888 etching by Mary Nimmo Moran measures 11 7/8 x 8 inches, plate signed and dated, after a painting by her husband, Thomas Moran. Mary Nimmo Moran was known for her originality and boldness in her etchings and was a member of the Society of Painter- Etchers and the only female member of the Fellows of London's Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.
This is a very fine original etching, image size 7 x 9 7/8 inches, pencil signed, with the WPA stamp lower left, some condition issues.
