Lithograph with lithotint on zinc by the American artist, Arthur Bowen Davies, measures 12 5/8 x 19 inches, signed in the image, l.r., edition of 25 or less, printed by George C. Miller, i/ii, 1921, cat: Czestochowski-192. Davies was known for his unique decorative style, often visualized in a fantasy world of female figures. One of the most respected and successful American artists, he was a member of the "Eight" and was the principal organizer of the 1913 Armory Show.

Lithograph by the American painter, lithographer, and muralist, William Gropper, measuring 14 3/8 x 10 inches, pencil signed. At the young age of 13, Gropper's artistic talents were apparent. He entered the Ferrer School studying under George Bellows and Robert Henri, then went on to attend the National Academy of Design and the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts. AAA label included.

Lithograph, image size 15 3/8 x 18 inches, 1932, pencil signed. Born in Poland, Max Weber emigrated to Brooklyn, New York with his family at the age of 10. He went on to study art at the Pratt Institute in Boston, then traveled to Europe where he was influenced by the groundbreaking work of Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Henri Rousseau. Weber returned to America, bringing with him the cubist and modernist ideas and techniques that he learned in Europe, and is considered by many to be one of the forefathers of American modernism.

A whimsical scene by Prentiss Taylor created in 1950. It is pencil signed, dated, numbered and titled on the lower margin. Taylor was an illustrator, lithographer and painter studying at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and then at the Arts Student League in NYC. In the 1930's he fell in love with lithography and concentrated on that medium for the remainder of his life. He depicted realistic and narrative scenes reflecting his personal interest in music, architecture, religion and social justice.

Lithograph by the American artist, Wilfred A. Readio measuring 11 3/4 x 16 1/2 inches. Plate initialed, titled and numbered. Readio was a painter, lithographer and educator, known for his scenes of Pittsburgh, PA. and the American West. He was also a Professor of Art at the Carnegie Institute of the Arts.

This is a vibrant original lithograph in colors by American artist Leonard Baskin. The image size is 24 1/2 x 36 1/2 inches oval, 1974, cat: Fern & O'Sullivan- 655, artist's proof apart from the published edition, pencil signed and notated "AP", printed on a full sheet of Arches paper with deckle edges. Leonard Baskin was an important artist in the mid 20th century, known for his evocative wood engravings, lithographs, and etchings.

This light filled lithograph by Wilfred Readio measures 11 3/4 x 14 1/2 inches and is plate signed, pencil signed, numbered and stated. Readio was a painter, lithographer and educator, known for his scenes of Pittsburgh, PA. and the American West. He was also the Academic Drawing teacher at the Carnegie Institute of the Arts, Andy Warhol being one of his students.

A sweet original lithograph by Lucile Blanch, this image measures 8 7/8 x 11 3/4 inches, published c. 1935 by the Associated American Artists with the original label, pencil signed and titled.
