20th Century American Prints

This is an original etching by American artist Troy Kinney (1871-1938)  The title of this work is "Arcadia", it was created and printed in an edition of 170.  This pencil signed etching is inscribed as Trial Proof, one of 18 before the edition.  This etching appears in the Kinney catalog as image number 33.  The etching measures 6 3/4X7 3/4 inches.  Very nice condition, matted not framed.

This wood engraving by Barry Moser is one of 25 from his "Gold Rush" series. Published in 1985 in an edition of 350, it measures 7 x 4 inches and is pencil signed by the artist on the lower margin. This series portrayed gold mining activities from America, Africa and Australia. Moser, from Tennessee, became a graphic artist and printmaker studying under Leonard Baskin and Jack Coughlin.

This is an original etching by George Constant, circa 1940.  It is titled: "Man,Woman and Child", pencil signed lower right.  The image measures 6 1/2X4 7/8 inches.Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

Thsi is an original wood engraving by Hoyland Bettinger.  It is titled: "Perce Fishermen", created and printed c.1930's this image is pencil signed and titled in the lower border.  The image measures 4X5 inches.  

This is an original lithograph by American artist Edwin Kaufman.  The title is "Ohtoberfest,Munchen", created circa 1930, this lithograph has an image size of 7 3/4X9 1/4 inches.  It is signed, titled and editioned 11/16 in pencil in the lower border.  Printed on a thick wove type paper.

This is an original etching by New York artist Edwin Kaufman.  This etching,created circa 1920 is titled: "Up Forth St. N.Y.", it is pencil signed titled and editioned as 1/100.  The image measures 7 1/8X4 1/4 inches.

Woodblock, image size 4 x 6 1/2 inches, 1937, initialed in the plate, pencil signed and dated. As is typical with this artist, he hand signed and dated his images on the paper window mat rather than the sheet itself.

This is an etching with aquatint of a fine Harbor scene.  It was created and printed in 1932 although the artist is a mystery to us.  It is pencil signed and dated but we cannot make out who the artist is.  The image measures 8X10 inches and has the title of "Boats" in the lower left border.  A very fine image.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Agnes B. Fernbach.  The title is: Central Park, created circa 1920, this etching has an image size of 4X3 3/4 inches, Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Nice use of plate tone in the sky and snow.

This is an original Chiaroscuro wood block print by American artist Morris Gordon.  This image was created and printed in 1937, printed in green and black ink.  As with most of his original prints, he signed it in pencil on the window mat.  The image measures 7X5 inches, in very fine condition.
