This is an original wood engraving by American artist William Hezlep.  The title is: The Pratt House, Sandwich, Mass, it is pencil signed and titled, and dates from 1948.  The image measures 9 1/2X 6 3/4 inches.  Printed on a light weight wove type paper.

This is an original etching by American artist Gottlob Briem 1899-1972.  The subject titled is: Tenement, Pittsfield, Vermont.  This etching created and printed circa 1940 has an image area of 5X11 1/4 inches, hand signed and titled in pencil printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Extensive use of plate tone in the sky and land.  This etching was given to the former owner by the artist in Vermont.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Maxim B. Gottlieb.  This litho is hand signed and titled in pencil and numbered 15/20.  The image measures 7 3/4X9 3/8 inches.  The image printed on a medium weight wove type sheet was created and printed circa 1940.  Gottlieb was a well known teacher.  He studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, His works were frequently shown in Philadelphia.

This is a fine original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Gordon H. Grant.  The title is Home Port, created and printed in 1940, published by Associated American Artists in New York.  The edition was 232.  The image measures 9X11 1/2 inches.  Clearly signed lower border, beautiful condition.  

Gordon Hope Grant was born in San Francisco and educated in Scotland. After Scotland Hope studied at the Heatherly and Lambeth Art School in London and returned to San Francisco where he worked as an illustrator for local newspapers until 1896, when he moved to New York as an illustrator.

Later in life Grant lived on Rocky Neck, Gloucester, MA for 20 years. Here he focused on the harbor and its surroundings for much of his work. 

A member of numerous professional societies, his work is held in important collections nationwide, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Helen Noel.  The title is: The Nude and the Nun, created and printed circa 1930's.  The image measures 14 1/4X10 inches, printed on a Besingwerk watermarked sheet.  Helen Noel was employed in Chicago's District 10 Art Division of the Works Progress Administration WPA Federal Art Works Program.

Balthazar.  The subject is: The Wadsworth Barn in Hartford.  Created and printed in 1945.  Hand signed in pencil and editioned as 6/50.  The image measures 8 3/4X 11 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image was later recreated and so as the 1949 Presentation print published by the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.
