This lithograph by Hermine David measures 14 1/4 x 16 1/2 inches. Created in 1932, plate signed. David was known as one of the most outstanding women painters of the early 20th. century. Born and raised in Paris, at the age of 16 was accepted into the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, later going on to study at the Academy Julien. Equally well-known as a miniaturist and printmaker, she went on to have a long successful career as an artist and was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1932.

Etching is pencil signed and dedicated in the lower left. c. 1910. Printed on laid-type paper. 7 x 9 3/4. Oliver Hall was inspired by Sir Francis Seymour Haden, and, like Haden, his subjects are typically naturalistic landscapes.

This is a fine original pencil signed and numbered etching by French artist Auguste Brouet.  The subject is The Chiffonniers, (Rag Pickers).  Created and printed circa 1920  this etching done on a medium weight laid type paper measures a platemark of 4 3/4X6 3/4 inches.  Numbered 3/100.  Very fine condition.

This etching is a mystery to us.  It is hand signed in pencil lower border but we cannot match the signature with any of our known artists.  We think this is 20th century German School.  This etching of a young boy, just finishing swimming with his friends.  The etching measures 5X3 1/2 inches.  Very nice condition printed with a sepia toned ink.
