C. 1920. Pencil signed and editioned, number 128 in an edition of 150. Plate measures 5 5/8 x 5 3/4 inches on 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch wove type paper. The artist's composition and sparing use of lines in the background draw the viewer along the path of the figures, and out of the frame to their mysterious destination.

This is an original etching by French artist Edgar Chahine. It is titled: Rio Ca Foscari, Venice. It was created and printed in 1906 and was published by Gazette des Beaux Arts in Paris. The image measures 8 5/8 X 5 5/8 inches. This image appears in the Tabanelli catalog as image number 220. There is a signature and title in pencil perhaps by another hand then the artist.

Plate measure 5 x 11 inches on 10 3/4 x 16 7/8 inch wove type paper. Pencil signed in the lower right. This print uses minimal lines and plate toning to suggest water and the silhouette of a coastline.

C. 1920. Pencil signed in the lower right. Plate measures 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 inches on 12 1/4 x 9 7/8 inch medium weight wove type paper. A charming print with delicate linework of ladies enjoying their teatime outdoors.
