Prints

This is an original etching by French artist Edgar Chahine.  It is titled: Rio Ca Foscari, Venice.  It was created and printed in 1906 and was published by Gazette des Beaux Arts in Paris.  The image measures 8 5/8 X 5 5/8 inches.  This image appears in the Tabanelli catalog as image number 220.  There is a signature and title in pencil perhaps by another hand then the artist.

This is an original pencil signed and titled etching by American artist Kent Hagerman.  The subject is: The Fairchild Pack plane, C120 created in 1947.  This image measures 6 3/4X9 3/4 inches.  Part of a series that he created while working for Fairchild Aviation in Hagerstown Md.

This is an original lithograph by American artist Helen Noel.  The subject is from a series she did of life in the School Room.  This image is plate signed lower right.  The image measures 11 1/4X10 inches. Helen Noel was employed in Chicago's District 10 Art Division of the Works Progress Administration WPA Federal Art Works Program. 

This is an original pencil signed etching by Belgium artist J Paul Verrees.  This image is titled: Early Morning Bruges.  The image measures 7X5 1/4 inches.  It has the oval Blindstamp by the publisher, lower left border.

This is an original pencil signed wood engraving by American artist Randy Miller.  The title is: Brandon's Old Home,  created and printed in 1976 in an edition of 200.  The image measures 4X5 inches, nicely framed.

This is an original drypoint etching by American artist Gifford Beal.  This unsigned proof came to us from the Beal Family, a rare image by this artist.  The image measures 11 3/4X8 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.  A very rich impression.

THis is a color aquatint etching by Czech artist Emil Singer.  This view of a European church courtyard was created and printed circa 1920, hand signed in pencil lower right.  The image measures 10X13 1/2 inches.

This is an original aquatint etching by an Unknown Spanish artist.  The Final Curtain Call is pencil signed, titled and inscribed Puelba de Artista and titled: Fins de Funicion.  The image measures 11 1/2X 9 3/4 inches.  Printed on a Wove type sheet, deckeled edges. 

This is an original etching by American artist Frederick Stuart Church.  This image is titled: The Lion in Love.  It was created and printed in 1883, plate signed and dated lower left.  The image measures 9 1/4X14 inches.  Printed in a ochre toned ink.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is a beautiful original 19th century etching, possibly after a painting by French Barbizon artist Charles-Francois Daubigny. The image size is 7 3/4 x 5 1/8, unsigned, on a watermarked laid type paper. There is an inscription in French in the lower margin attributing this etching to Daubigny, but we were unable to find this image in the catalog of Daubigny's etchings.

C. 1920. Pencil signed and editioned, number 128 in an edition of 150. Plate measures 5 5/8 x 5 3/4 inches on 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch wove type paper. The artist's composition and sparing use of lines in the background draw the viewer along the path of the figures, and out of the frame to their mysterious destination.
