This is an original pencil signed etching and drypoint by American artist Otto Bacher 1856-1909. The title is: The Bridge, Schleissheim, created and printed in 1879.The image measures 5 1/8X7 7/8 inches. The platemark measures 5 7/8X8 3/4 inches. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet. A fine rich impression. Some very light even toning to the sheet but very presentable as it now appears.

This is a beautiful color etching and aquatint by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir. The title is "Vienna Opera House". It was created and printed in 1922. It is dated in the plate, "October 1922". The image is large measuring 18 1/2X15 3/4 inches. Very nice condition, a rich impression.

The title of this work is: "Sunset from the Williamsburg Bridge, NY" It was created and printed in 1915 in an edition of 100. The image measures 8 3/8X10 15/16 inches. It appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 674. This etching has a collectors stamp in the lower border and the original Kappel N.Y. label. The margins are thin on three sides which was typical of Pennell's etchings. A fine and atmospheric image.
This is a fine atmospheric etching by American artist Frank Benson. The title is Rain Squall, it was created and printed in 1931. We believe this to be an early state prior to the published state where the foreground ripples were removed, The image measures 6 7/8X8 3/4 inches. This etching appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 317, A beautiful work in nice condition.

This is an atmospheric original etching by British Marine artist and Lieutenant-Commander of the Royal Navy, Rowland Langmaid. Etching with drypoint, image size 5 5/8 x 8 inches, c. 1930, pencil signed and titled. A beautiful image of the silhouette of Big Ben rising above the busy Thames River.
A fine detailed etching by British printmaker, William Lionel Wyllie. Created c. 1915, it measures 6 1/2 x 14 3/4 inches and is pencil signed on the l.l. This is a great image of yacht racing in the Solent, where Cowes Week is an annual sailing event. Wyllie was a well known marine painter and printmaker, studying at the Heatherley School of Fine Art and then at the at the Royal Academy. At the age of 18, Wyllie won the Turner Gold Medal for his painting "Dawn After A Storm". He went on to have a long artistic career, specializing in paintings and etchings of the sea and the city of London.
Color aquatint. Numbered in pencil in the lower left, 2/25. Pencil signed in the lower right. Plate signed in the lower left. Plate measures 8 x 10 inches on 8 7/8 x 11 3/8 inch wove type paper. Small registration holes on either side of the print. Meyerowitz studied at the National Academy of Design in NY and is best known for his development of producing etchings in color. His work is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Carnegie Institute; National Academy of Design; Harvard University and the Library of Congress.

The etching is pencil signed in the lower right. This etching was formally sold by Merrill Chase galleries in Chicago. The image measures 13 1/2X21 inches.A fine impression, Sold by Merrill Chase, Chicago... Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and the Ecole des Beaux Artes in Paris.
With his hand application of color no two images look exactly the same, a very painterly technique.
