This is a fine original etching by British printmaker Ernest Lumsden.  The title is: Mosque and Temple, created and printed in 1914 as plate no. 2 from His Indian Series.  This etching is hand signed in pencil with the "imp" after his name meaning that he printed this impression himself.  It is also inscribed as: "4th trial state no. 2" lower left border.  It appears in the Lumsden catalog as image number 167.  The image measures 8X9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is an original pencil signed and titled woodengraving by American artist Bernard Brussel-Smith. The title of this work is "Shore Leave", it was created and printed in 1941. It has an image size of 6X4 inches and was printed in an edition of only 50 signed proofs.

Etching and drypoint from 1922. Pencil signed in the lower right. One of a series of five etchings from his series "The Arteries of Great Britain." Published by Dickins in 1922, in an edition of 425. Catalog: Dickins 73. Image measures 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches on 9 1/2 x 12 1/4 inch wove type paper. The scene is of the open Swing Bridge, from a vantage point of the High Level Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne. An atmospheric print with selectively wiped plate tone. Walcot was born in Russia, the son of a British father and Russian mother.

This is a hand signed color etching by Czech artist Tavik Frantisek Simon.  The title is: Fishermen in Concarneau, Brittany, created and printed in 1912 in an edition of 300 published by G. Petit in Paris.  The image measures 12X13 1/2 inches.  Numbered 216 near the artists stamp lower border.  This image appears in the Novak catalog as image number 192.

This is a fine original pencil signed and titled etching and drypoint by American sporting artist Roland Clark.  The title is: The Conference, created and printed in 1925.  The image measures 8 3/4X11 3/4 inches.  Fine use of plate tone in the sky.  A rich impression printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Numbered as 15/62 impressions.

This drypoint etching of the English landscape painter, Charles March Gere, c. 1927, measures 12 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower right margin. Francis Dodd was born in Wales and trained at the Glasgow School of Art winning the Haldane Scholarship in 1893 enabling him to travel and study in France, Italy and Spain. During WWI he became a portrait war artist producing more than 30 portraits of senior officers. After the war he gained considerable notoriety for his watercolors as well as his printmaking.

This is a fine original etching by French artist Auguste Brouet (1872-1941)  The title is: Un rassemblement en Camargue, it was created and printed in 1925.  This image is numbered as 44/75 ..The image measures 8X12 1/4 inches.  the Cercle de la Librairie drystamp. in the lower right border.  Hand signed and numbered in pencil.  Fine condition with elaborate remarque in the lower border.  Boutitie 320, IFF 36.1, BPL 13, Universität Osnabrück, EH 4.

This is a finely detailed etching by American artist Max Kuehne.  The scene is: New York from Weehawken, N.J.  It was created and printed circa 1930's.  The image measures 10X13 1/2 inches.  Pencil signed and titled in the lower border.  Printed on a J. Whatman medium weight laid type paper.

A very fine original lithograph by New York artist Harry L Taskey. Image size 11 1/2 x 15 3/4 inches, c. 1935, edition of about 25, published by the New York City WPA Project, pencils signed and titled.

This is a fine example of the color aquatint etchings of Austrian artist Tavik František Šimon  The title is: "APSE OF NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS IN WINTER", it was created and printed in 1924 in an edition of 300 published by the Society of Graveurs Modernes in Paris.  The image measures 12 3/8X17 3/4 inches.  The etching is pencil signed by the artist lower border.

This is an original etching by British artist Sir Francis Seymour Haden.  The title is: The Inn, Purfleet,  It was original composed and created in 1869.  This etching was done in 11 states, this was the published version and designated as X/XI before the plate was cut down.  This etching is pencil signed, the image measures 7X10 inches, printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  The image appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 127.  The scene was taken "from the left bank of the tidal waters of the lower Thames, some twelve miles east of London."

This is an original etching of the artist's wife, Anais Brockhurst.  It is titled Anais II and was created and printed in 1930 in an edition of 111.  The image measures 9X7 inches.  It is signed in the plate and also signed in pencil lower right.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image appears in the Brockhurst catalog as image number 67.  Very fine condition, a rich impression.
