Drypoint etching, image size 6 1/2 x 11 inches, 1931, edition 75/100, cat. Chamberlain and Kingsland-107, pencil signed, numbered and titled. This scene of Bellefontaine, Ile-de-France, exhibits Chamberlain's ability to create subtle gradations in plate tone.
Etching image size 11 7/8 x 9 3/8 inches, plate signed lower left, Vivares founded an engravers school, member of the Society of Artists he exhibited in 1766 and 1768. His reproductions of Claude de Lorrain were widely appreciated.

This is a fine original line engraving by British artist Robert S. Austin. The title is "Scythes Resting in a Tree",created and printed in 1928, the image measures 5X3 1/2 inches. Pencil signed by the artist, numbered 11/75. Robert Sargent Austin was a highly respected illustrator and engraver, sometimes regarded as the last great English engraver. He taught at the Royal College of Art and was eventually elected president of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.
