William Meritt Chase

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist William Merritt Chase.  The image is titled The Churner, after the painting by Mean Francois Millet.  The image measures 7 1/16X4 1/2 the plate size is 7 5/8X5 3/8 inches.  Most likely created prior to later type setting. A scarce image and rarely found pencil signed by Chase.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.
