Plate titled in the lower right. C. 1893. Etching, aquatint, and drypoint. From his "Les Petits Du Ballet" series. A very stylized print that showcases the stark contrast between the somber adult figure in the doorway and the bright, energetic young dancer entering the room.

Print 43 in an edition of 50. Pencil editioned in the lower left. Unsigned. Plate measures 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches on 12 x 9 3/4 inch watermarked wove type paper. An energetic print of a still subject with wild, expressive lines and a rich drypoint burr.

Claudine

This beautifully colored etching and aquatint portrait measures 12 x 9 3/4 inches on 24 x 17 3/8 inch arches laid type paper. Print 26 in an edition of 65. C. 1903. Published by Sagot, Paris. Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and the Ecole des Beaux Artes, becoming a master of the aquatint medium. He developed much of his own aquatint techniques, which enabled him to create his uniquely painterly, richly colored images.

Print 61 in an edition of 75. Signed in the lower left, editioned in the lower right. Plate initialed and dated "1926" in the lower right. Second state. Catalog: Laboureur 323. The image depicts the cliffs along the coast of Penestin, France. Plate measures 9 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches on 15 x 9 5/8 inch watermarked wove type paper. Collector's stamp on back. This print has very fine engraved lines and a very whimsical style. Laboureur studied at the Academie Julian under Auguste Lepere before traveling extensively throughout Germany, Italy and Greece.

A Lady Dressed in a Fur Coat

Plate measures 7 7/8 x 5 7/8 inches on 14 x 11 inch medium weight wove type paper. C. 1905. Catalog: Novak 33. Edition of 50. This is a rare, very early print of his. Pencil signed and dated in the lower right with the word "Paris." Plate initialed on the left hand side. Rich drypoint burr with extensive use of plate tone.

A Jersey Shore

Hand signed in pen and ink and numbered 61 in an edition of 100, plate measures 7 3/8 x 10 7/8 on 10 1/4 x 15 1/2 inch laid type paper. Plate signed and dated 1929. This is an atmospheric print with excellent chiaroscuro.
