Raglan Castle

Atmospheric mezzotint by the British artist, Sir Frank Short, measuring 7 3/4 x 10 5/8 inches, 1885, cat: Hardie-10, printed in brown ink, after a drawing by J.M.W. Turner, publishing information printed within the plate, l.c., pencil signed.

Cuenca

This richly toned etching by the German artist, Sepp Frank, measures 14 3/8 x 18 3/4 inches and is pencil signed. This is one of eight impressions from his time in Spain entitled, "Meine Spanishche Reise Acht Radierungen", 1923.

Greyhounds

Circa 1935. Print 21 in an edition of 68. Pencil signed in the lower right, editioned in the lower left. Plate signed in the lower left. Plate measures 9 1/2 x 12 1/2 on 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 inch laid type paper.

La Corrida

A great image of a Spanish bull fight, this etching with drypoint measures 10 1/8 x 11 1/2 inches, published in 1929 in an edition of 100, pencil signed and numbered. Hermine David was born and raised in Paris and at the age of 16 was accepted into the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, later going on the study at the Academy Julien. She was a well known painter and printmaker and was very active in the thriving artist community in Paris in the early 20th century.
