All Hands

This is a very dramatic original etching by British Marine artist Arthur Briscoe. The image size is 8 3/8 x 15 3/8 inches, 1926, edition of 75, hand signed and numbered in ink. This etching is tastefully framed with what appear to be archival materials, provenance Egon and Joan Teichert Fine Prints, NY, label on the back of the frame. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century.

Through the Meadows

This is a beautiful, richly inked original etching by Peter Moran, image size 13 x 19 7/8 inches, published in 1886 by Klackner. It is state IV/IV, cat: Wright-92, pencil signed and titled on the lower margin. This image is listed with the title "Through the Meadow Stream" in the Wright catalog, although there are several alternate titles including the one that appears on this impression.

Etching after a painting by George Fuller, image size 20 3/4 x 13 1/4 inches, signed in plate "S.J. Ferris Etch 1883" and "G Fuller Pinxt 1882", remarque lower center, copyright 1884 by Klackner, NY.

Fishermen's Houses, Cape Ann

This is a very fine original etching by Stephen Parrish, published by Keppel in 1881. The image size is 12 x 19 inches, cat: Schneider-49, plate signed and titled, pencil signed. According to Schneider, this atmospheric image of the Massachusetts shore was one of Parrish's most popular etchings. This print features a very richly inked impression with beautiful plate tone, printed on a medium weight wove type paper with ample margins.

Marsh

Pencil signed etching by American artist Ruth Leaf. Pencil titled with "Artist proof" in the center. Plate measures 14 x 21 inches in a 23 x 30 inch black frame.
