This pencil titled and signed linocut depicts the bleakness of New York City in the Depression Era. 8 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches on 10 x 12 1/2 wove-type paper. "1932 N.Y" in pencil on the lower right.

Fieldworkers

This original woodcut by Lucien Pissarro, after an engraving by his father, Camille Pissarro, measures 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. Lucien was the eldest son of the Impressionist painter, Camille Pissarro. Lucien specialized in English country landscapes, rural views of woods, cottage gardens and orchards and in the 1880's he became interested in woodcuts and engravings.
